In partnership with the Dr. Ali Nawaz Foundation, Caring Hands worked to improve the infrastructure of Dr. Ali Nawaz Shishu Kanan School, a school located in Shahebabad village in southeast Bangladesh. Shahebabad has a total population of roughly 8,000, and is a village of Brahmanpara Upazila. The Caring Hands grant was used for construction of a boundary wall surrounding the school and dredge filling of low land in order to improve public safety for the children. The wall was created specifically to prevent children from falling into a nearby pond.
