In 2015, a devastating 7.8 earthquake struck Nepal, killing roughly 9,000 people and caused over 3.5 million people to lose their homes. This seismic event left lasting scars, disrupting lives, homes, and infrastructure. Our mission is to provide sustained support and aid to the communities affected by this devastating earthquake and restore access to basic rights. We provided a $5,000 grant towards rebuilding 2 primary schools in 2 of the most affected districts of Nepal with the intention of reinstituting the fundamental right to education for students who had been forced to embrace open grounds as classrooms due to the earthquake.
