2021: Free Covid Care Center, Hyderabad, India
Support free 50-bed Covid care center for the underprivileged.
- Category : Global Projects,
Sri Sri Holistic Hospital has been operating a 100-bed Covid facility since March, 2020 in Hyderabad. Given the current surge in Covid cases in Hyderabad, the need of the moment is high and the underprivileged are disproportionately impacted. Starting mid-May, Sri Sri Holistic Hospital is opening a 50-bed, 6000 sq. ft. Covid Care Center that will provide free treatment to the less privileged. Inpatient treatment for a period of 5 to 7 days, food, tests including labs/PCR test & CT scan, nursing care, doctor consultations and medications will be provided free. This is not an Isolation or Quarantine facility and only those patients who cannot be managed with home care (almost all of them require oxygen and at least moderate or severe cases by ICMR classification) will be admitted and treated.
The projected operating expenses per-bed per-day is $50 and monthly operating expenses are expected around $75,000. Financials will be maintained in a transparent manner and the list of patients with their contact details will be provided to you. We urge you to be part of this humanitarian project.
Caring Hands is trying to raise funds towards operational costs as well as procurement of oxygen concentrators. All donations are tax deductible and 100% of your contribution will be sent towards this cause.
