Description

The school is located in the most underdeveloped part of one of the most underdeveloped district of the state of West Bengal. The area is inhabited by agricultural laborers and the literacy rate is very low. Due to incomplete funding from the government, the tructural condition of the school is very bad. Because of lack of basic minimum facilities, the dropout rate is high. A renovated school building with functioning facilities will create an environment conducive to learning and continued attendance.
