Bansberia balika Ashram

Bansberia Balika Ashram is a project in which Caring Hands built residential facilities for orphaned girls in West Bengal India. The project was inspired by our visit to the Bansberia Rural Development project in December 2015, where we noticed a group of impoverished orphaned young girls who were unable to provide for themselves.  In 2016, Caring Hands built a safe haven house for these girls where they will be housed and nourished under supervision of a resident foster mother. Their school education will be assured leading eventually to a self-sustained productive life.
